How often do u need to change the spark plugs for? And which brand you guys suggest? I have 3 brand in my mind: NGK, Bosch and Denso

I think its the oem is denso iridium.. or some type of iridium.. I would not trust anything from bosch anymore..

I tried Denso & NGK in my accord and it was much better than the stock plugs.

Any TSXers swap their Spark Plugs to a "better" one? I've read that the TSX stock spark plugs are NGK Iridium already. My mechanic who do the performance upgrade on my car told me that regular Iridium spark plug that sells here will make no differences on our car. Unless we can find some "temperature 8 or 9" Iridium spark plugs, which can be find in asian area due to the hot climate.

If I remember it good... the service interval is 120k km = about 75k miles. That's a lot of km's/miles.

Best thing is to have your plugs checked regularly if you feel the need to. Recommended specifications and personal preference can vary significantly. However, every 30,000 KMs is quite an overkill especially on a non-modified engine car.

Should I get back the OEM ones or sth else? I dunno if it's the battery or the spark plug or the which makes the car hard to start up after stopped for a long period of time(10+ hrs)

The battery is the attributed the concern, not your plugs. And yes, the factory plugs and more than sufficient.

As part of trouble shooting for an as yet unidentified noise I pulled my plugs to do a compression test. They all exhibit the same electrode profile as below, for which the service manual recommends replacement. Going by the manual I should still have 40,000km left, but my 80,000km service is due now, and I seriously f**ked a plug today (though it still works...for how long is unknown) so I'll be doing a complete replacement of at least one on Monday and the rest when I can.
