HELP: Interior Trim Piece Removal (Wood or Silver)

I tried to search for the keyword "trim" and went through 20 pages of results with no success.
I found lots of info on door panel removal which is helpful but was wondering if anyone has advice and even pics on how to remove the trim prices on the doors and the dash.
I understand the A/C control unit is fixed but I'm sure the rest can be removed. I think the trim on the doors might be held on with screws and can only be removed after the door panels are off. I could be wrong.

Any help at all would be appreciated.

I asked lito(?) since he just did the CF wrapping but he siad that the door pieces are indeed bolted on so you have to remove the door panel to take them off.

The remaining front pieces (minus the radio one) just pop out apparently.

I have been trying to do the wood to silver conversion for a while now but so fat I have been able to gather up only 2 front driver side pieces only. Still working on getting the piece above the glove box as well as the 2 doors...

Thanks for the info. If you or anyone can give some insight or examples on the best way to pop off the dash pieces that would be helpful. For example, pry from this side of the trim piece to release the clip. Something along those lines.

Yes all the trim pieces pops right out except for the door pieces which are held by 6-7 screws, so you need to remove the door panel. I just used a small flat screwdriver to pop the pieces out. Here's some illustration taken from Helms manual to get you some idea. Hope that helps.

Thanks for putting up those scans. It looks like the trim pieces are held on by plastic clips and not the metal ones that hold on the center console cup holder piece. Am I right?
If that's the case it might not be as bad as I thought.
I really have to get my own Helms manual.
