Rim cleaning? Anyone?
So, I took a day off to enjoy the wonderful weather here in DC, and I realized that my Aspec rims are looking a little dirty from brake dust and tar.
Is it too far to take the rims off, and wash them inside and out?
Is it wayyyy too far to clay and wax them?
I'm already in the process (just letting the wax set), I'm just curious if anyone else has done this.

I hit mine with Sonus Rim Bright, and brush. works amazingly
Review.
I clay'd my rims once, but it got me freaking out about damaging any coating on them.

Thanks guys, I was feeling a little anal about all that.
I only do it about twice a year, and I stopped claying, because I wasnt seeing anything come off. Instead, I washed, threw some bug/tar cleaner on there, used some P21S paint cleanser, and some P21S carnuaba.
They look great now, like out of the box. Now I can really see my crappy rotors/calipers.
