antifreeze flush
I have a 04 and would like to back flush the engine and radiator. I still have the older green antifreeze. Could anybody provide some insight as to how the back flush might be done?

You mean getting the rest out from the block?
There is a place on the block where you can drain it from. I am not exactly sure where it is, but it could be found with some research.
OR you can drain the radiator, fill it with water, run the engine for a bit, drain it and repeat a couple times.

There is an additional drain bolt on the block. It is located just above and to the left of the oil filter. It is the place to install a block heater. You can drain a bit more coolant from there

There is a plastic/white plug at the bottom of the radiator. No tools needed. Pretty easy to find too.

antifreeze flush
Opening the drain plug at the bottom of the radiator will flush out antifreeze in the radiator only. How do you flush out the antifreeze in the engine block? Is there a easier way to completely flush out all the fluid from the system? Also, is tap water recommended for the flush, i.e. concerns from hard water deposits in the engine block? The Type II antifreeze comes 50/50premixed with de-mineralized water for that reason.

Just buy distilled water from the grocery store. It's pretty inexpensive.
I used Prestone antifreeze. It's not the Honda brand or color but I spoke with several mechanics who said it doesn't matter. It serves the same safe purpose.
