Help please cd changer disappeared!
Hello everyone, I have an 04 TSX and I took it to the dealership Acura of Brooklyn for the stereo/ac lights that went out which is a known problem and they fixed it for free. When I got it back all the lights were now working as they were out before but not my car acts like it doesnt have a cd changer anymore. My CDs are in there but it wont recognize them and it wont let me insert or eject any CDs. It doesnt even recognize the CD player as an option anymore. I have the USA spec ipod adapter connected and it was connected the whole time. I went to the dealer and told them the problem and they said the USA spec could have caused this since it is not made for my car. It sounds like they are just trying to cover up a mistake they made. If someone can help me with this it would be greatly appreciated if anyone can tell me how to fix this or maybe what the problem is. Thank you very much everyone.

Try to disconnect the USA SPEC ipod adapter and reconnect the radio like it was from the factory. This should fix the issue, usually. You can also reset it by disconnecting the battery from the car, but be sure to have your radio code handy as you'll need it to be able to access the radio again. If that doesn't work then the dealer may have done something to the car/stereo when changing out the boards.

Yea I've tryed to reset mine several times and I don't have the USA spec and still no luck

oo man so your saying you tried the battery disconnect and everything and it never showed back up? what could this mean what did those bastards do to our CD CHANGERS!?

yea ive reset the battery, pulled the fuse and reset it or whatever that way and everything still no changer, i plan on just getting the navi swap i guess cause my cars no longer under warranty and from what i understand they will only replace it up to 100k
