That is very true Memphis. I've been trying to exercise a lot of self control lately. I realize that having a SC, does not give me a free pass to drive the freeway like a race track. It's damn hard sometimes though
The brakes will be the next thing I do. Any recommendations on rotors and brake pads?

I just got word from Comptech. The Supercharger kits for both the Manual and Automatic will begin shipping the middle to end of next week. If you guys want to place your orders you can go to the Comptech website or give them a call directly.

The ECU needs to be reconfigured to work with the Super Charger, new Fuel/Air Mixtures, and other stuff, not a huge deal, im sure comptech will have figured something out before they start selling the SC.

The SC looks amazing. But I do have a question, how is it in terms of relibility? Will there be a lot of maintenance throughout the life of the car (like turbo is high maintenance). Are there any additional things that need to be maintained now?

Part of the SC package includes a reflash by Hondata. You will send your ECU in to get it reflashed. So basically you have will a Hondata reflash that was custom made for the supercharger. A custom Hondata reflash along with a Comptech ACM piggyback module handle the engine management.
There are two kits 1 for the auto and 1 for the manual, but they are basically the exact same kit though.

Yes, it should be very reliable. I've heard that an SC is more reliable than a Turbo. There is not very much additional maintenance. The blower on the SC has it's own oil, and that needs to get changed every 50,000 miles. Other than that, I just need to change my oil regularly and use synthetic. I also always need to use Premium gas, but you basically always should with the TSX anyway.

I've noticed that I can get close to the same mileage that I got before if I drive normal. If I'm on the gas and in high RPMs though, it definitely takes more gas. During normal freeway driving, which is what I normally do, it's about the same.
I will do some more testing with this and let you guys know though.
