i only notice it between the 600-700 rpm level and really only notice it when i turn my headlights/foglights or A/C on. It only happens when I am in Drive so I always put it in neutral when i am stopped (only if i have anything that sucks a lot of juice) I want to change my header now, I looked at the engine while it was in Drive (my wife was holding the brake while I was looking at the engine) and I turned on the A/C and lights and the whole engine was rattling around. It didn't look healthy at all. I am thinking about saving money for the Mugen header and cat combo. I heard that one doesn't rattle. Plus I wanted that one to begin with.
would it help if i got a more powerful battery?? or even a better alternator so the engine doesn't have to compensate for the electronics?? I already put a voltage stabilizer in but it really didnt do anything as far as im concerned.

I have not felt any vibration from the CT header, of course I've noticed most people that have the "CT rattle" are A/T cars; one of the reasons I would reccommend the Topspeed/DC style header for A/T cars. That and the A/T typically puts less stress on the powertrain (driver permitting), thus causing less flex of the poorly designed flex pipe. I am going to find a longer (near stock-like) flex pipe to weld onto my TS header and slap it back on for a while to see if that helps. Once I find a viable solution, I'll sell my TS header and post my fix for all to see so they can find a permanant solution to a very common problem.
PS. If someone is willing to host pics for me, I took a bunch of pics of that shows all three exhausts-CT, TS, Stock (especially flex pipe/flange area). I was pleased to see how close the CT header was designed like the stock piping.

Didn't you started up a few thread about which is the best header awhile ago, and you still pick up the rattle one???
The rattle happens mostly on A/T, so far I've sat in 3 A/T TSX w/ Comptech header, and they alll rattled. It gets pretty annoying because putting the gear in Neutral is NOT a solution.
Maybe try to replace the header hanger under the car, I recall someone on the forum did that, and reduce the rattle a bit.
I have a DC header myself, more than 1 years and no problem yet (no crack flexpipe), LMK if you want to trade for something that DON't rattle...

What exactly makes the rattle?? It only rattles when I am using the A/C or lights. I think it's just vibrating at a certain RPM only kind of like pitch forks and how if you sing a certain note, the pitch fork rattles. after looking more closely at my rpm's, the CT header rattles approximately between 710-690 RPM. If my engine just didn't use that RPM level, there would be no rattle. I am currently working on finding a brace or making one somewhow that I could use to bolt up where the stock header was bolted to the chassis and add some rubber bushing in their to solidify the foundation of the header. I bet if the stock header only had one header hangar for support, it would probably rattle too.
I didn't choose the DC header because I didn't want a ceramic header. What I really want is the mugen header but I so poor

The Comptech header is a one piece design, where as the DC is 2 piece. When you idle your car, nothing moves except your engine, and that's how it transfer the vibration into the cabin. The header hanger that you have MIGHT be worn, and replacing it might help.

hmm...thats something to take a look at. When i was putting the CT header in, the seemed to be in great condition.
