Mine has enough room to fit the elbow, but its a bit tight to get out the bolts.

Side benefit is a cooler engine bay. The reason to wrap is usually for a turbo setup. As the hot gasses expand they increase velocity. If you can keep the heat in the pipe as opposed to allowing it to "soak" the header and escape, you get a faster spool-up of your turbo.

Hey, what's the PN of the 2 Gaskets?? I have been searching the P2R website, and can't find em there.. heeltoe has them listed as P143. Would that be correct??

I'm glad someone corrected the previous post about the thermal wrap being used only to reduce under hood temps, but wrapping isn't really more for turbo'ed cars... Accelerating the spent gasses is an old racing trick, and the wrap is the same as coating a header, just not as nice, durable, or effective...
Anyways, I just installed one of these and a header at the same time, and it's definitely sharper response... For as easy as this is to do, and the fact that custom enlarged intake manis are so damned expensive unless you have a TIG, I think it's a good bang for the buck mod...
