Super Touring Cat-back from Modacar...

well y'all, I stated in a previous post that I had ordered a
Comptech Cat-back system, ($881 incl shp.), from Modacar for
my TSX. What I received was Modacar's "in-house" version of
the Comptech system, ($505 incl shp), which is the Super
Touring Cat-back system.

(The reason for the mix-up is partly my fault....I had originally
ordered the Super Touring system, then changed my mind and
attempted to change the order to the Comptech, and thought
I had.....but, lo and behold, UPS showed up with the Super
Touring system from my original order. Since there was going
to be a 3-week backorder delay for the Comptech, I decided
just to go ahead and keep the Super Touring.)

Now, I am so glad I did.....I installed the Super Touring system
yesterday....it went on without a hitch, looks fabulous, and
has a perfect exhaust note....nice deep growl when pushed,
and nothing raspy. So, not only did I save $376 over the
Comptech system, I still got a high quality, great sounding
stainless steel, tig welded system, that will last me forever.

Here's the Modacar link if anybody is interested.....:

I have a nice camera capable of doing sound clips.....if I could
figure the damn thing out!! I've been trying....when I bring up
the menu, for some reason the "record audio" is not highlighted
to where I can select that option and then record?? Once
I get it figured out , I will post some sound clips....sorry for the
delay....

...its definitely a 05 Miata....don't know why he thought it was
a S2000......which if that were the case, it would still be
in my possession....love them S2000's!

Super Touring sound clip question...

OK, I've got it all figured out with my camera on how to record
a sound clip of my Super Touring exhaust and will record it as
soon as it quits raining here...should be within the hour.

One question....my Panasonic Lumix camera records the audio
in Apple Quicktime format....I trust this is not a problem for
anyone.....for those that don't have Quicktime, its a free
download from Apple.....or do I need to convert it somehow to
a different format for all to access?? Also, is there a trick to
posting the sound clip on this forum?

What say you?

I'm in for sound clips. No offense, but I can't take anything you say seriously after seeing the the lack of rice inhibition on the rides. I'm just glad the Miata didn't have a type s emblem on it or a hood scoop. Please tell me that the Miata came with those hidious GT emblems and the 6 SPD emblems?

What do you mean "No offense" ?? Saying what you did-how
you did, you meant to offend.....why do you have to be so
arrogant man? Did somebody elect you to be the "know all-end
all" when it comes to car styling? It's ok for you not like my style,
but whats wrong with doing it with little respect? Its people
with your attitude that gives forums a bad rap. But, thats ok,
you have to live with yourself.... anyway, thanks for the comps!
