Yeah, if it revs to 7600 then it has the reflash. The best way to tell is to get the VIN and ECU serial number and call Hondata. I believe they will tell you if it has the reflash.

It's been awhile since I've had only the reflash but I remember it making a very nice difference. My review is on the Hondata website on the reflash page. You can read it there or search here on the forum for it. Good luck!

no it was manual, it was Dougs car at hondata.
My main concern is the the check engine light and key light in the dash bord. when I drove his car both of those lights were on. I don't want that on my car, I don't want my dash bord light up like a christmas tree

I hope i don't get any engine lights on..I've tried testing the car between 6-7k and even redlining it lately, but I can't really "feel" the vtec to prepare myself for the difference. I think that has something to do with us only having like 1k of vtec revs..

The reflash doesn't cause a check engine light. You're probably talking about k-pro (I haven't looked into it, but people used to piggyback a RSX ecu, which would cause problems).
I have an 06, and I remember that there was such a big difference after I got the reflash. I'm used to hondata now, but if I were ever to drive a stock TSX, I'd probably go nuts.

If you recall, I made a point of saying that in order to run three different ECUs for you to drive, I had to switch off the immobilizer which generates a green flashing key light on the dash. When we reflash your vehicle's ECU the immobilizer works normally and there is no green light.
I also mentioned that as my car is used for R&D I am always testing things and that I had an emissions valve removed, generating an engine check light. This had no effect on performance for your test drive. We also make a point of stating this on the release page for the TSX dual adapter:
Operating notes
The K-Pro dual was designed to operate your car as safely as possible. In order to do this, we switch off systems in the stock ECU that the K-Pro takes control over. This enables the stock ECU to run without any error codes. No error codes means the VSA (vehicle stability assist) works as intended.

The other day when i was testing out my rims and tires, i could feel the vtec just slightly. like barely lol. And yea, it freakin sucks having only 1k of vtec. I want to reflash but prolly later on.

Thanks for clearifying, Its my only car so I have to measure 1000 times before I cut it. I have $ 700 saved up, and right now I'm between Reflash and Tein SS Coilovers (need to save some more)
