nope. My engine is Stock. I guess we'll just see how it goes. Anybody have any idea how to bend hangars? They are not exactly symmetrical and I want to fix it before one of them melts my lip kit.

give it time dude. smell and smoke is normal. as for the hangers, i took a broom and stuck it in the exhaust hole to slightly bend it. i noticed that the passenger side was a little lower than the driver side. not sure i'd recommend it, but it worked for me. as long as the tip isn't touching, it won't burn your lip.
the sound actually got quieter for me. maybe i just got used to it.
just chill and let things settle down.

the apexi exhaust wont melt the rear lip because they out port is pretty far back compared to the SP2.... and as for the bent hanger... how did that happen?

probably should disconnect the battery and let it sit then let the ecu relearn.
The tone will get a bit louder as it opens up but it probably settle down when the ecu relearns.

First off, I wanted to thank everybody for their help and their comments. I feel fairly confident that everything will work out just fine.
The hangers weren't bent, it just doesn't sit quite right for some reason or another. I even had some trouble trying to get the center hanger in place, but had a work around that works for now.
I'm going to try to put some aluminum tape in between the bumper and the exhaust tip temporarily until i get the hanger bent.

It's normal. Mine had the same thing. Smells terrible haha. I am not sure if the smell is from the exhaust or header, but I am thinking it is a mix from both.
I don't think I thanked you earlier, so, thanks for helping me get the exhaust to my car haha

Yeah, hopefully you can make it out to that meet, even for just a little while!

The smell's normal for a bit. Both my Tanabe MT's (one had a hanger break, Tanabe replaced the whole catback free) have made funny smells the first hundred or so miles of use. Go for a few hard backroad runs, that'll expedite the process. It should settle down soon.

So after driving 600 miles round trip to and from vegas, my exhaust smells are gone from what i can tell.
A few thoughts on the Apexi WS2 Exhaust. This might be info that some people already know, but I thought it might be useful for those who are looking into this exhaust.
First things first:
My car, in terms of mods to the engine, is completely stock. All of my mods so far have been either to the suspension or to the exterior look of the car.
My thoughts:
The exhaust in general is much louder than I had anticipated.
It's fairly loud from a dead start and low speeds trying to pick up speed. I find that in local driving, you cannot ignore this exhaust, but in Freeway driving (60+ mph) it is perfect. It does not drone at all and I only hear it when I am accelerating hard ( and it's not even that loud then, just a really nice tone).
I haven't driven all that hard with the exhaust by myself, but i don't really notice anything different in terms of power or acceleration as of yet. I might give it a hard drive on my way to work tomorrow and see how it goes.
Other Ideas for the Future:
So the local noise is really bothering the crap out of me. What are your guys opinion of taking this exhaust to a shop and getting a 2nd resonator added where the OEM 2nd resonator would have been? What are the risks involved? You think that it will potentially sound raspy or uglier? Will it change the tone? I just want the whole thing quieter.
Thanks in advance.

I would live with the noise or check out silencers.
I think getting a 2nd resonator might compromise the quality of the system.

This is the first time I've ever heard anyone say the WS2 was too loud. Usually people think it's too quiet. Anyway, I think Apex'i makes silencers. You should see if they have one for your application.
