J's did give a good amount of power... The VTEC actually pulls harder... Dont need to downshift on some hills when I had to before the exhaust...

I just got a message from Noel and he claims 10-15 WHP gain depending on how aggressive the exhaust is. He also sait that optimal pipe size is 60-65 MM which ~3 inches.
This thread has brought up some helpful info hehe

I can personally say i gained 21WHP with my J's 70RR
and 60-65mm is not 3 inches... 70mm (like what i have) is only 2.75 inches.
60-65mm is 2.3-2.5 inches.
3 inches you will lose a lot of low end

I had my Dc Sport exhaust custom made into a single exhaust. I have a DC sport replica header - t1r test pipe - 2.75 inch pipe to 2.25 inch pipe to DC sport muffler out the driver side. I been meaning to get a dyno cuz I just don't know if I get any gains, but not sure where to go.

Had this set up for a while now, so I dont if it makes any difference. I was driving around in a o6 loaner for 6 months, my 05 feels slower. Only dyno will tell the difference

I beg to differ your 05 w/cat-back will beat an 06, and a car wouldnt be stock if it had header/cat/pulleys

Well of course its not stock! That is not the point, tho. I am curious why the guy with single cat-back says that 06 felt faster. that is why I am asking if he has stock cat and header bc if they are stock.... I doubd any noticeable gains from the cat-back.

06-08 has a bigger Intake Manifold and more aggressive CAM's (according to a very reliable source, the stock cams are the biggest honda makes)... That is probably why you felt the 08 having more pep...
