Dont quite give up yet... it is always worth it in the end, and buying an already fast car is never the answer. It takes all the satisfaction out of it. There is always an answer to the question.

I hear ya, I love my car. I really do. It hurts to see it not running right (and at this point, sitting under 1/4" of pollen because I haven't driven it in a week since the dyno). I really hope the ACM fixes this. If not, I'm looking at paying an open-ended sum of money to have the problem diagnosed (I'm not terrifically mechanically inclined, nor do I have access to a garage/tools of any sort).

I would contact CT-Engineering and demand for then to fix it or money back, I would raise hell. That SC is not cheap

If this doesn't get resolved that's exactly what's happening...

Are u sure that the SC reflash has nothing to do with VTEC not kicking in? Have you tried asking them to have it flashed again? Just a random thought....

The reflash is absolutely involved with control of VTEC. I brought up the possibility. Doug @ Hondata has never seen a case of a reflash for a supercharger not allowing VTEC to work. If the ACM doesn't prove helpful, it's certainly worth a look if other diagnoses fail.

Well, everything has to happen for the first time and you might be that unfortunate one. There is always a certain possibility of a mistake so consider that too. Good luck!

Do you know anyone with a stock non supercharged TSX... that you could run your ecu on? To verify that the map indeed trips the vtec?
But... I think these ECU's are tied to the key's... NM...
It would be useful to know if the solenoid is even receiving the signal from the ECU... too bad there is no LED in line to light up when the signal is being sent....

I was thinking and don't get me wrong but 2004 TSX puts down something like 164 WHP or so and if you put the SC that should get you 200-210WHP right? I mean what numbers do people get with 2004-2005 TSX with SC? I might be wrong here but I was just thinking this.

Supercharged 04/05 6MT with full bolt-ons is good for 245/185 or so, plenty of instances of that on the forums, Big Ben immediately comes to mind. If I am topped out at 200WHP for the car in its current state it is 100% getting sold.
As an update, right now it's at Excelerate and Josh+Jamie are trying to find out what's wrong with it.
I'm so incredibly sick of EVERYTHING related to my TSX right now. I'm already window-shopping other cars because this is just bullshit.

I saw your car on the lift when I was there on Saturday, I figured it must be a forum member's. I jokingly suggested to Josh that he give me your VTEC. I'm sure Josh and Jamie will be able to take care of you man.

UPDATE
Josh + Jamie figured out the problem: my cheap Topspeed (note: screw eBay) header. After a year of ownership, the hissing got worse and the flexpipe began to separate from the header. So, last August, I had a new double-braided flex section welded in, which seemed to fix everything. However, yesterday Josh and Jamie looked inside the header and saw THIS:

That'll definitely kill power. A .75" opening that ought to be either 2" or 2.25" (I forget).
CT header is on order, and should be on the car in around three weeks. I can't wait to drive this car when it can breathe properly!

So, all that ill will, and negative comments you have been posting, all that anger was for an inferior product you purchased?
Kids, let this be a lesson, do not buy junk parts. Purchase only quality products, it's better to spend a little more money once, than to have to spend the money multiple times, and waste time.
