doesnt matter much, if the previous guy used regular dino and its got 90k on it, you dont need to waste money.. if previous guy used m1 or something else, its good to match..

It shouldn't matter which oil. I just make sure to get a good filter.

It depends on the mileage/kolometrage. If it is very low (less than 50k kms), then I would suggest a good synthetic oil as the working parts may may have not been "broken in" yet. Mobil 1, Castrol, there is a good variety. If the engine has like 100k KM's, it doesnt matter much. Also, buy a good filter bc u dont want dirt in the oil.
PS: Proof read before u post, please.

The best brand oil bought OTC in my opinion is Valvoline conventional. I've used it for 15 years on all my cars with no problem. I've been using Toyo Roki filters as well, but this time switched to HAMP filters for my TSX as the blue Toyo Rokis have been discontinued.
I highly recommend a HAMP filter. They're cheap compared to other filters and are better than the Honeywell OEM filters Honda uses now. (The Hamps are still made by Toyo Roki I believe).

Just use dino oil (regular oil). The reason I think it's better then synthetic is you change it out alot more often with the filter. I woudn't worry about using expensive filters either. I change my oil every 3months on the dot. I dont drive more than 1,500 miles in that time period. I use 5w-30 Castrol anti sludge with a Fram filter. I see it this way the more often you change it, the better. I have 67k on my car and even after 3months of hard driving it still comes out looking clean.
We have a family 96 accord with 250k, we always used castrol oil with any filter since brand new. The car still runs like brand new, doesn't drip or leak oil, and pulls just like it did with the same gas consumption as day one.
Personally I think synthetic is for the track or for a car that recomends it.

HAMP Synergy
As for the HAMP, which is an alternative Honda brand, fulfilling after market demand, developed with quality and economical values for consumption parts which are compatible to your Honda vehicle

oil is pretty much oil.. 91 taurus sho, 180,000 miles on quaker state dino oil, regular change interval. engine out lasted the rest of the car... it was the only thing standing at the end, on top of that, this was before internet, FRAM filters, the cheap stuff that no one would even use now..
i never used m1 till i got my honda and then tsx.. didn't make a difference, as long as you have good oil change intervals
