Well, at very low RPMS, TQ decreases. Speaking of less than 3k.

Yep, I got header and cat on my 05 and effect, even without reflash, is very much worth the money. I mean seriously, the car revs smoother, sounds deeper and pulls waaay harder in 3-5k range. VTEC is also very pronounced. I am not thinking, I am determined to get a single outlet cat-back. 2.5 inches and either hytech twin loop muffler or HKS carbon muffler or magnaflow 2.5 inch in/out muffler (less ricey than HKS' 4 inch tip).

No, it only helps with both power and TQ.

^ Its called K- SWAP header because its designed to connect K-series engine to the exhaust system of the vehicle it was SWAPPED into........ Anyone tried swapping a K series engine into a TSX?

ie. installing high lift and longer duration cams but not upgrade valve train, the valves will float
To every action there is an equal and opposite reaction

 Very true!!!

Actually, u are right. That thing may have a small tip, but the muffler itself is huge. I guess I will get a $300 carbom muffler. Anyone here got 1?

If I just want header and cat changed, (since I wanna keep stock exhaust and muffler for noise reason), I guess there's no point going all the way with Hytech right?
Maybe CT's + anti-rattle mod better?

Basically, there's only 2 types of header you can choose, "regular" or "race" from various brand.
"Regular" = DC, Comptech, E-bay, TopSpeed etc.
"Race" = Maxim, SSR, Hytech, Mugen etc.
Regular will net minimal gain but gain you access to emission test. Race header deleted the CAT, net more gain (full potential will unlock by K-Pro) but you will have trouble for emission test.
*** K-SWAP type is NOT for TSX ***
You can also look for CL9/CL7 header, for CL7 you will need JDM cat or JDM exhaust to hook up in order to get it fit. Other than that there's nothing much to choose from. And if you pick race remember to get K-Pro down the road or else you might **** up ya car with not much gain.

O Yah, I guess I miss that, which TSX did he use it on?
If any header was on Doug's TSX I think it's the Hytech Full Exhaust System unless he switched to Skunk 2 recently?
I knew Skunk 2 has custom race header for Redline GramAm but they are not for sale.
