sounds like the recharge kit is the overwhelming answer. Guess I'll go by that then. How long can these intake cone filters last for?

Yeah they have a million mile warranty on the filter. I think you are supposed to clean it every 10,000 miles though. Hell, just clean it when it looks dirty and you will be ok.

If I lived out in Cali, I would help you do it. Ohio is just too far of a drive
