I could name all the things, but the question is.... Will they pay themselves off on a long run in fuel only? Maybe not..... So stock with a light foot as kuma said.

myth was that rolling on the highway with the windows down would increase aero drag because of the open windows so some thought closing the windows and running the ac would be better for fuel efficiency sake. But sacrifice in aero efficiency with the windows down is next to nothing compared to running with the ac. Its been proven that running with the ac on(on a traditional belt driven compressor system) with affect fuel economy by up to 10-15%. Even all electric system ac systems like on the Prius will affect fuel economy by 5 to maybe 10%.

mythbusters drove some large SUV, one with windows down, one with AC all the way up -- the ac one outlasted the other by 17 minutes (yes both were identical vehicles, and drove around same track together)
On my weekly research trips that are about 300 miles round trip, I cruise at 80, have ac on auto (usually has recirculate off), and tend to get 27 mpg. Pretty sure if I didnt want it so cold I could turn it up a bit warmer and maybe slow 4 mph and do better, but im happy with that
I think the difference between AC and windows down, especially at highway speeds falls to how well the car is designed. i.e. square suv not exactly set up for aerodynamics around the windows. I havent tried it in this tsx, but i know in my old prelude with the windows down mileage really sucked for cruise control speeds.

If you want better gas mileage, I would say airflow restrictions, remove them, leave the cat, or at least a high flow REAL cat on... and less weight. One thing that no one ever brings up is longer gears. The tsx tranny has super short gears. Older honda's I've had had substantially longer gears. After I did a ported head, with opened intake manifold, bigger throttle, decked head, and header of course i/h/e (also had fidanza flywheel) I took my 28~29 mpg 98 accord to roughly 34 mpg on the highway. I could cruise at 80 miles an hour in 5th gear at less than 3k rpms... On my tsx to do 60 miles an hour, I am just at 3k rpms...
If you had a taller final drive, or a taller 6th gear, where the engine could turn significantly slower at highway speed, you would get better mileage. However, seems that this is not a option anyone even entertains here...
That's how GM gets the corvette to get the mileage it does... it's 6th gear is like a 2:1 it's rediculous and the motor turns at like 1500 or so 65. (haven't driven the car, so I cannot say, but you can do the math for the tranny with their information on their web site.)
I also think for boosted apps a taller gear option would be great, because accelerating under boost with long gears is alot of fun, and yields good mileage, relatively speaking.
Anyway, since I am sure my words probably aren't taken too seriously... I did some research for you to read on your own...

quickest way to change the final drive ratio without actually changing the the final drive is to go with a larger diameter wheel/tires. Since most of the K24's meat is above 4000rpms, the tranny is geared short to take adavantage of that. The draw back is even with a 6spd tranny, its geared way too short. And mind your our 5th and 6th gear is overdrive gears. LS3 from the Vette has so much low end tq, that chevy is able too gear the tranny tall. Their 5th and 6th gear is also overdrive gears. One thing that I would love to do to my TSX is boost it so that i could make decent power and healthy dose of low-end to mid range tq and change out the 5th and 6th gear to a taller set and change the final drive. I would love to be cruising on the highway at 70-80mph with the engine spinning at around 2000rpms. Imagine the fuel savings

^^ We think alot alike.
I am just biding my time for engine managment for cu2 chassis, I have been saving up money for boost components since I bought the car.
This oil change I changed to royal purple, and my mileage for my second tank of gas is just over 31.2 mpg right now... that is actual calculated, not the dash calculated number... which is always high.
Also, a correction at 3.1k rpms my car is at rougly 70 miles an hour, so apologies on that.
I was merely putting it out there that there are ways to get better mileage.
Just takes one person to do something before the "impossible" becomes the "norm".

If you don't drive, you will save a TON of gas! I guarantee it!
