You'd lose a little of your low end but gain a little in the high rpm range. Their called K20/24 hybrids usually done in the reverse by putting k24 heads on the k20. Not something im a fan of for our cars but thats my own opinion.

Isnt it supposed to be the other way around, K24 block with a K20 Head?

I dont think it really matters. The RSX community puts our heads on their blocks and call it a hybrid.

for RSX it gives them a tad more low end torque and vis-versa for us.

its k20 head k24 block because the k20 head has a better flow and higher cam advancement than ours.

The reason we don't rev as high as the k20s is our longer stroke in the k24. Our piston speed is about the same at 7200 as the k20 at 8200. So imagine the piston speed of ours at 8 or 8.5.

I know it the U.S. the redline is already at 7200, in Canada i think its 7600 RPM. When i dynoed me car, it was still gaining HP to redline, so I dont think going to a z3 head would make a difference.

My car is a Canadian one and the redline is set at 7100rpm.
I never heard of 7600rpm one...
