Engine oil and ATF fluid intervals

The TSX manual says to change the engine oil every 10,000 miles, the oil filter every 20,000 miles and the ATF every 120,000 miles. These intervals seem way too long, especially for the oil filter -- does anyone have recommendations on intervals for fluid changes?

Both are cheap.. engine I would say 5-7k on mobil1, 3-4k on dino motor oil. ATF - 15k if you drive like a maniac, 25-30k if your granny shifting.

I dont think it's worth the effort to save and skip the filter, you should change it with the oil. If you are going to change the oil every 10k, at least change the filter every 5k

engine oil 5000km
tranny 15000km

engine oil, use whatever u want, as long as it is the grade recommended on ur manual (in my case, it is 5W30)

for auto tranny, use Honda oil only.

It all comes down to how you drive and how "much" effort you're willing to take to ensure maintenance levels are kept. The factory recommendations are simply recommendations, not mandatory/compulsory guidelines to follow.
