shift knob
hey do you guys know if the shift knob for the auto-tranny can be replaced with an aftermarket one..? cuz it doesn't seem to be easy to unscrew it.

How can i install a new type-s shift knob on an automatic shifter? I dont know how to get the old one off... any advice?

counter clockwise. you have to put a bit of force into it if its your first time removing it. dont be afraid to use force.. it wont break it. it's screwed on pretty tight.

because your avatar is so huge it takes me a while to access this thread with my treo phone. damn. What kind of knob are you putting on? got a pic?
Personally, with the parchment interior and wood trim, i want to get the Acura wood shift knob for AT and the wood steering wheel. But damn do they cost a decent amount of $$
