Congratulations on the new car!
I got one recently too, and honestly, I can't get over how much I love my car. It's in my garage everyday, I drive it everyday, and I daydream about it everyday.
I've never loved a car so much. I've heard about people feeling this way even after nearly 3 years.

congrats! You chose wisely ;-)
As for mods, you need to decide how you want to personalize your car. You need to tint your car (be sure to do your research first if you have the navigation system...also find out about moleskin).
After that, lower your car with tein coilovers...and you'll be set for a while

great choice! what color did you go for?
"necessary" style mods..get the suspension down 25-35 mm and get some nice wheels (17-18"), a tint and maybe a new exhaust that's both a performance and a style mod. performance-wise, you lucky americans got the hondata k-pro or reflash, get that, and then the obvious cai or sri and (again) the exhaust. should make a great car an even better one. i've had mine for 6 months and i still smile as soon as i see it, it's an incredibly sharp/smart looking car!

Put a coat of Carnuba wax on it ASAP to keep the water spots and swirl marks away. (Tip: wax the windows and head/taillights too!)
Switch to synthetic oil at some point: General consensus is to run the factory fill for 6 months or 5000 miles, whichever comes first. Then, Change the oil using the honda oil again and run that for another 6 months or 5k miles. Dont switch to synthetic until 12 months or 10,000 miles, whichever comes first. (I like Royal Purple).
check the oil level regularly...every gas fillup is a good idea, for the first 6 months or 5,000 miles. (Speaking of gas, use the highest octane available for best engine performance.)
dont do any hard braking or shifting (if its a MT) for a good 1000 miles to let those components seat themselves properly. Its not a bad idea to give the engine some short bursts of heavy throttle in the higher gears to work the engine in and get a good piston ring seal. (for the first 500 or so miles anyway.)
have fun!

changes the timing, ignition and fuel maps for better torque and horsepower. Also lowers the VTEC engagement point.
personally I wouldnt until you get past the first couple oil change intervals and have switched to sythetic. (Best if the engine is fully run in.)
