A spec Rep lip and Sti V lip ***installed****

So I finally bought both. It's weird because the Sti V lip seems like you have to flip it, for it to fit and look better, unless I'm mocking it up wrong. But I will leave it like this since it looks better. Hoping to wrap the sti lip with CF paper or hydro dip it.

Looks like it's supposed to!

Did you hit yours with some heat to make it a little easier to bend/move?

Definitely wasn't the worst lip I've put on.

No heat, right now I just have it taped down so that I can align the lip and get the screws all put in before I paint it this week. but heat wouldn't be a bad idea for the middle section.

I don't know how it's going for you, but when I mounted mine I started in the middle, and then used a heat gun to soften the tightest angle, to allow me to get it to sit as flush with the bumper as possible. Mine wasn't sitting as nice as yours for mock up when I started. Be sure to use double sided tape as well as it'll help keep everything tight and flush.

So I finally got around to painting it, ordered the oem paint from scratchwizard.net , some coats of primer, 2 step base coats and finally clear at the end. It's not perfect but it's smooth and came out decent. I enjoyed and learned a lot and once the STI lip if wrapped in CF, I will install it all together.

yeah, here's another pic, I was actually surprised how well it did come out. Although, I did have to add a little off white/light cream color to balance it out. At first with just the oem paint, it was super white to me.

I saw a guy with a CF wrapped one this weekend at cars and coffee and it looked really good.

It's alwyas tough matching old and new paint, and white can be especially tricky but I think you did a good job.

Ok, so finished the lip(s) install this weekend, it was a bitch but I got it done. Its not the prettiest and the paint match is not exact, even though the company used my paint code. I painted, I did the work, I put the sweat in so I'm happy with it for now. I was going to wrap the STI v lip with CF but I couldn't wait on Amazon to get it to me and it was a nice Saturday morning. It's not as low as I thought it would be, so I can drop it a little more. 18's on the way.

So I got my CF wrap from amazon yesterday, will be taking the STI lip off this weekend and wrapping that thing. should look pretty clean. I'm going to have some left overs so I might wrap that chrome part of the door handles as well, we'll see how that looks lol
