Talking My TSX v.s Cobalt SS
I know that our cars aren't anywhere near the fastest thing on the road, but they aren't slow. so just a minute ago in traffic a guy pulls up in a red cobalt SS, they aren't my style but it was nice and sounded good. of course upon seeing me he starts revving and acting like and asshole, i usually don't waste the gas on shit like that but he's pulling up and taking off, toying with me. so he decides to bait me on to the highway, i turned the music up, put it into tiptronic and commenced to whoop his ass, it was close but i pulled it out and all i have is an SRI no exhaust and an AT. anyway i get off the exit about 1/4 mile and he pulls up beside me we exchanged compliments and he says he's got a stage 3 comin next week. To bad he didnt get his win today cuz if i see him again im not gettin spanked! any way has any one else gotten the speed bug? also don't know if this was an accomplishment or embarrassment?

I barely race anyone, even if out of pride. I really don't think it is worth it. First of all the TSX in my opinion isn't the car that you race to show "i'm faster then you," it's not terribly fast, but it's just quick. Compared to the Cobalt SS which I did a quick google search is a sports car...here are how the specs.

Cobalts SS (2dr supercharged) vs 2005 Acura TSX (for sake of argument)
-Supercharged 2.0 vs 2.4L, both inline 4
-205HP @5600 RPM vs 200HP@6800RPM
-torque 200@4400 vs 166 @4500RPM
-0-60 @6.4secs vs @8.5secs
-1/4 mile in 14.9 secs vs 16.20 secs

TSX specs wise is slower...
