A-Spec changes for 2006?

In July issue of Road & Track, there is an article about TSX A-Spec. "The A-Spec package adds a more aggressive front fascia, sill extensions and a rear wing to go along with the 17-in. alloy wheels shod with P215/50R-17 Michelin Pilots. Save for the stylized caliper logo and wider grille opening,...etc" There is only one exterior picture in that article. Grille looks the same to me. Can't really see the whole caliper but it seems to look a little different. Its placement is at 90 degrees or 3 o'clock position and color is more grayish.

Also "The greatest surprise, however, is found on the window sticker. The last TSX we tested in November 2004 had an as-tested price of $29,035. This A-Spec model - with the more aggressive wheel and tire package, a moonroof, voice-activated navigation, heated leather bucket seats with power adjustment, steering wheel controls,... etc - stickers for $27,560 including delivery."

The article didn't say what model year this package is for nor how this "updated?" A-Spec different from the older? I don't know this article got published but I think the writer is smoking crack...

Um..... you can get the A-specs package right now.....I think it's avaliable....

if it's not...... just get the OEM kit, with the Acura 2 spoke star rims and the A-spec suspension~

Read the article again. The writer is comparing the grill of the TSX to that of an Alfa-Romeo. The Alfa's corporate grill is smaller, and of course the emblem is different. He didn't mean that Acura had a different grill on the A-Spec.

If you look at the headlight/grill treatments on Alfas, you can see what the author was getting at. The TSX does share a resemblence there.

Also, the price is totally screwed up, which wouldn't be the first time a car magazine has made that sort of error. The A-Spec kit retails for $4330, plus you'll get charged for installation. DeLorenzo must've been looking at a non-navi sticker. Go figure.

also, I wish I could be there when the first Road and Track reader hits an Acura dealership looking for a $27K TSX A-Spec. Hilarity will ensue.
