My Ride: acura tsx 2005 black

stereo and lights
i have an 05 tsx, the interior lights and stereo will flicker on and off sometimes, i was driving to the store yesterday and my car died then i started it and now my stereo just says code across the display. HELP PLEASE

Yeah sounds like a bad battery. Do you still have the stock battery? They are notorious for failing.

Yea def sounds like your battery. You need to get the code from your dealer if it's not in your manual or glove box. Just call them up and provide them with your info.

It varies. I bought mine from the dealer and didn't have the code so had to call em up. I was told it should be 1) on a card in the glove compartment in the leather manual case 2) written on the inside of the book somewhere in the front or back. I didn't find either so when I called them I gave them my name since the car is in my name and the vin number to verify it was me. They gave it to me over the phone but warned me it's something they shouldn't do. I just said I had to disconnect my battery so need the code since I don't have a car to drive. Just tell them your battery died and the car is now asking for the radio code. Hopefully they give it to you if you can't find the code in your car.

I called the customer service for acura and they had no prolem giving it to me... As long as you are the registered owner...

your batterry shouldnt fail while being charged by an altrnr. id still get a new battery though.. just in case
