Car barely starting

My TSX isn't starting like it should. On the battery is shows that thiere is a blue ring around the red pin on the battery. But when i start the car its barely starting. I live on the east coast, its winter season here but I never had a problem like this before. Could it be my starter or alternator?

Its probably just your battery, the stock battery is known for being short lived. I live on the east cost to(Canada) and the cold weather + the car sitting for a day or more is enough to kill the battery. I tried going by the ring and red dot but found it wasn't always accurate, and had to put a charger on over night.

Nope, you might need to remove the bottom battery tray though. I got the optima red top. So much better than oem.

Yes I agree. I spent $75 or so on a NAPA battery, and have had no issues.

Yellow tops will definitely work but are absolutely overkill... I got my redtop and i just had to squeeze it in there nice and snug, but it fits. Never had to crank my car more than once after that.

Yes you can stil use the stock battery tie down. Im planning on buying an aftermarket one though, probably Password jdm. Battery box i would say no. Currently my battery is sitting on the metal piece. I did not put the larger part of the top on the bottom. Battery is great though.

If your looking into purchasing a battery, alot of people have recommended Optima red top or yellow top, Interstate MEGAtron, BOSCH, Costco's Kirkland batt. All these batts have great warranties.

I'm on the OEM battery still..yes it sucks..but mine is under warranty..I'll probably get another replacement when I go in for my oil change..once warranty is up however, I'll probably get a redtop

My Optima yellow top has been serving me great for about a year already. It is such a great improvement over the stock battery which always seemed to be barely breathing...
