Ball Joints

Just moved to MD and got hooked up with my body shop's mechanic. They said I needed to get new ball joints but would pass me anyway. How fast should I be worrying about this and has anyone had these replaced? Aftermarket vs OEM? And also how expensive is this job.

Ok so i looked further into it. It's just like a camber kit for the front. Does anyone know how hard it is to install yourself?
Or if ingall's is the best one to get?

Are the lower ball joints good?

It sounds like the mechanic needs work instead of your TSX needing ball joints.
Make him provide the specifications for BJ wear and show you how close to worn out yours are.

^+1. Honda/Acura ball joints almost last the lifetime of the car. Find a new mechanic.

I have 140-150k miles on my Civic's ball joints and it has had A LOT of hard driving. I doubt your TSX needs ball joints unless the car has been wrecked causing uneven pressure on the joints or something.
