Coilovers for beginner

I own a 2004 TSX with 200k miles, daily driver. Just ordered 18x8 wheels with 215/40 tires, not installed yet. I also want to lower between 1.5-2.5in. I started looking and lowering springs, but read a lot of comments saying the shocks would quickly need to be replaced. So now im looking at coilovers. I don't really want to spend a lot, around the $600 range. Looking for adjustable height and comfort. Suggestions??
FYI my car knowledge is very limited.
Thanks in advance for any help!

Man if you can come up a little bit from $600 look into the Tein Flex-Z. Heeltoe is having a special on all Tein's right now too.

I have the Flex-Z's and love them, and they're a great fit for what you're doing, and will let you change it up any time down the road. If you can't bump your budget I'd look at their Street Basic kit. It's a nice kit too you just need to retain your upper mounts. Look around on heeltoe's sight and you'll see what I mean. You're not going super low so these would also be a good fit.

Thanks for the link. I was already looking at the Tein SB and Function & Form Type 1. So the Teins are a better choice?

I've had F/F type-2s and now my Tein Flex-Z's and I'd take the Tein's any day.
