T1R is a great company. they make very high quality products.
I would say that T1R is superior to both Wilwood and Rotora.
There are other brands as well:
J's Racing
Endless
Stoptech
Brembo
Spoon (not a BBK, it uses stock rotor sizes)
and some others as well.
If you are only looking at Wilwood, Rotora and T1R, I would get the T1R in a heartbeat.

if you can't afford Spoon or Brembo, you surely can't afford Endless either.
so check into Stoptech, Wilwood and Rotora

Pardonnez mon francais, j'ai seulement etudie une quantite minimale
Le kit Endless Brake coutera environ 14000 francs. T1R fabrique qualite kit de frein, mais un membre sur le site a le kit et la peinture fanee rapidement.

Endless is superior to T1R I would guess most would say.
for me, the Endless kit would cost about $3500
for me, the T1R kit would cost about $2000
so the endless is at least 50% more expensive to the retail
market here. as far as I am aware.
if you are considering one of these higher end companies,
you might also want to throw Project Mu into the mix, I would.

I'm not really in a position to say which kit is superior to the others.
you can look at basic stuff.
size of rotor
1 piece vs. 2 piece design
design of caliper
number of pots in each caliper
materials the products are made out of
but unless you have a track car, that races all the time, and you put the kits
on one after the other and test them against each other, it's gonna be hard
to say with any certainty which is better.
you can easily go off of the retail price and determine then which one is
more exclusive or blingy. believe it or not, what determines some peoples
decision is the color of the caliper. some companies offer several colors, while
others do not. some offer specific colors that others don't. some brands
are more recognizable and popular then others. these seem to be more along
the lines of comparison that I usually see. not which one performs better at the
track, and therefore is better at its job.
Endless is probably the most expensive setup you will find. J's racing is pretty close
in price because the setup is very similarly built. Project Mu might be the next most
expensive behind endless. T1R is more affordable then either of the above two.
I'm not sure if you care where they are built or not. not sure if Italian vs. Japanese vs.
American has any bearing to you. but for some it does. If you want to venture outside
of the Japanese market, things will become more affordable to you.
it's really a personal choice. brakes can be custom built really for whatever application
that you will need them for. If it makes any difference to you at all, when it came time
for me to buy brakes, I narrowed it down to Project Mu and Endless. I ended up spending
the money on the Endless setup. But if were to do it again, I'd buy the Project Mu instead.
I personally think that Endless is a crappy company with horrible service that spits out
parts that are lower quality then they should be and they don't care one bit about it.

advantages to a 2 piece rotor huh?
well, I can think of a few:
weight reduction. usually about a 15% weight reduction over a 1 piece rotor
of the same size. the aluminium or magnesium hat is much lighter. so less spinning weight.
resistance to warping. having a true floating 2 piece rotor will allow the outer disc
to expand and contract more freely without stressing the hat. this helps to prevent
cracking or warping of the outer disc.
heat dissipation. due to having an aluminum or magnesium hat, it will dissipate heat
much better than the cast iron hat of a one piece rotor.
maintenance. instead of replacing the entire rotor. with 2 piece rotors you keep
the center hat and just replace the outer disc. now this probably isn't going to
save you much at all, for outer discs are expensive too. but it helps to keep
the cost more comparable to the 1 piece then if you'd have to replace the aluminium
or magnesium inner hat each time.
looks. lets face it, the 2 piece rotors are just so much better looking. the inner hat
can be finished in a nice color. plus the hardware adds a dimension of appeal to the rotor.
that's pretty much all I can think of. you might gain a bit of clearance as well with a
2 piece rotor, but I'm not too sure about that.
