How much Comfort will I lose with coilovers?

I have been doing some research and looks like I will go with either Teins basics or Buddy Club N+.. I will drop it 2 finger gap.
How much if any comfort will I lose from Stock...????

I don't think you will lose much comfort at all. You'd most likely get a better ride.

^+1. A good coilover is barely noticable.

I have Tein Basic, they are just like stock so I didn't lose any comfort at all.

Well you will definitely lose some comfort based on the fact that you have less travel and firmer spring rates to compensate.

I've rode on someone elses Basics before and the ride is nice. Not OEM but you wouldn't know if you were an average driver/rider. The trade off to aesthetics and performance is way worth the slight loss in OEM ride.

It really depends on whether u get coilovers with adjustable stiffness* and how you adjust it as well as the spring rate. If you go with tanabe or BC N+ or Koni yellows+sport springs, then you should be able to make it even softer than stock

my wife could instantly feel the difference when i switched from stock to tein basics. but it could also be that NY roads tend to be in horrendous condition.

relatively speaking, it's a sightly firmer ride. if you the roads you drive on are smooth, the only thing you'll notice is the better handling. if you've got rougher roads, you'll notice the increased stiffness.

I went with BC N+ with no finger gap for a while and set it to the stiffest setting. I couldn't really tell any difference. Handling was better and a tad bit bumpier but when I had it around the mid dampening numbers it was too bouncy and I kept rubbing. My girl at the time, and parent's weren't able to feel any difference. Most people said they like the ride on the coilovers now more than stock. I guess I'll find out more so when I go back to stock for my winter setup

Like said though, a good coilover/spring & strut setup should be barely noticeable to the avg driver. Pros>cons overall for most.

heh. it comes with the territory.
but assuming you'll get wheels eventually, the ride will be rougher unless you get some big ass tires.
for my car i was willing to take the sacrifice of a somewhat rougher ride, for the aestethics

most adjustable shocks, like the konis and the BC N+ adjust the rebound only, not the bump, so it wont affect the ride harshness of your shocks much - just like sortudo7 has experienced. the best way to determine the comfort level of your setup is the spring rate. the koni cup kit would be good since you can order it with sport springs, which arent as stiff as the ones on the tein basics and buddyclubs, plus the dampers are top-notch.
