2009 Acura TSX Awarded IIHS Top Safety Pick

Whether you like the 2009 Acura TSX or not, the ‘midsize luxury car’ has won the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety’s Top Safety Pick award. The new 2009 TSX improved in the side test from acceptable to good and in the rear test from poor to good.

To qualify for the Top Safety Pick, a vehicle must earn the highest rating of good on the IIHS’s front, side and rear tests equipped with electronic stability control.

The 2009 Acura TSX is available at dealerships now with prices starting at $28,960 topping out at $32,060. Power comes from a 2.4L DOHC i-VTEC in-line 4-cylinder engine that produces 201-hp and 172 lb-ft of torque.
