Something that bothers me about the TSX

I picked up my TSX last Wednesday, and absolutely fell in love with it. The interior is very well executed, and overall, is put together nicely. One thing that bothers me though, is the JDM trunk button outline on the passenger door. It cheapens the interior IMO, and while I understand how much a new tool would be to manufacture a completely new door panel; I feel they could have relocated the trunk button to one of the two blank switch buttons next to the VSA button in an effort to alleviate this problem.

Now that you know my gripe, what are yours?

he is talking about the trunk release button on the driver side door, and how there is a matching hole on the passenger side (used for JDM specs euro R), it seems to be covered with a cheap piece of plastic instead of having a brand new door panel with no hole at all.

Yep i know exactly what you are talking about. It pretty ugly and isnt suppose to be there but i wouldn't pay too much attention to it. Did u notice how similar the new accord and the tsx are. So that should be like the least thing to be worried about but i definatly agree that they should of added something to cover it.

Seeing as this is the 2ng gen. thread, I think it's safe to assume he has an '09 2nd gen.

He is taking about a 2009 tsx second gen. He is talking about the front right passenger door panel how it also has a hole for the trunk but it covered with a little plastic that looks like something belongs there.

The thing I hate about the TSX is all the advertising on the dash about the stereo system, it cheapens it and says to me they are trying to sell to kids that like wearing brand names. It is one of the things that is keeping me from selling my G35 and buying a TSX. That and the fact that my car is pure sex.

Two different cars though. I had an 06 G35 6-sp coupe, and while it was great for what it was, the TSX is so much more refined. Not a knock on the G, but I always considered it as a Jap. Camaro. Tons of power, but when you threw it into a curve, it was overweight. Even with the gimicky "4 wheel steer", mine handled terribly.
