My $130 black firday special navigon GPS has lifetime traffic, is much easier to program and does a better job at text to speech, than the navigation system in my 2009 TSX. In addition, you can enter destinations with zip codes, and have such items as gas stations appear on the screen all of the time Indeed from now on I plan to silence the TSX system and use my Navigon to give me the verbal directions. Save your money

personally, I'm looking at taking away all those damn controls and install a large touch screen in-dash media player (DVD, GPS, Bluetooth, removable faceplate for security, USB, etc.) That itself will cost CDN$1100+labour. More specifically, JVC KW-NT1.

Acura and Honda interior's the same. So, check out what this guy did with his Honda Accord 2009. YouTube - 2008 Honda Accord V6 EXL Coupe slammed 2.5 inches on staggered 19 inch wheel full system and mods

so imagine what you can do with $3000. You could get a REALLY NICE MEDIA SYSTEM, add in speakers, subwoofers.... if stay with stock sound system, you can add a full body kit.

I am pretty sure he paid close to $3000, in not more for a clean install like that. The stock system I heard is awesome and looks pretty good in the car. So if you have extra money, it probably worth it.

Too bad it was stolen. I couldn't even imagine how hard it was on this dude.

Guys, can anybody do a photo or video please, how the navi works when navigating?
From enter an address, and then when driving... I want to see the graphic on crossings and the voice commands... Thank you a lot.

I think it is worth it if you can afford it. Regardless of what you can do with the cash, it will not look as clean as an OEM nav unit. That accord is nice, don't get me wrong, but to me, it's almost like he cheaped out on the nav unit while the rest of the car is very nicely done. In my opinion, having that accord with the factory nav would make it much cleaner, but I understand that sound quality when comparing the alpine unit to the oem unit is probably not as good as it could be. I really don't like the metra dash kits and have always wanted a clean, factory look. It is very rare that I see an aftermarket unit that actually looks amazing, and usually it costs a ton to have custom work done.
