/\Yeah, I don't have any problems with my 05 PWP.
I do polish it twice a year and I use wax-as-you-dry spray when I wash, plus other random waxes (all with the Porter Cable machine). But besides paint chips from 75k miles, my paint is pretty good.
Sounds like you need to wash/wax more often to keep your paint protected.
