First off, welcome to the club!! Your post is a wee bit vague, but lets see what we can offer... Where are you from, hence what kind of "weather problems" are you possibly looking at?? Are they winter or summer tires or even all season? If they are pure winter tires, check the tread depth, anything 4 mm (1/4 inch) upwards should be good for the season, depending on the amount of snow you might be facing.. if the are summer tires and you are in an area looking at some frost/freezing rain, they too should be ok, but you have to adjust your driving to the circumstances. If they are all seasons, get rid of them! They are not the best for either season. If your daughter tears around town, it'll put your heart at rest to know she's riding safely!! But whatever you do, come spring, get some new sneakers for your car.
