No worries Ryan,

I just wanted to qualify your recommendation with some background info & we seem to agree.

I haven't driven the Primacy's but our TSX has the OEM Pilot MXM4's on it which are a higher performance tire than the Primacy's.

IMO, the Pilot MXM4's (which had 30,000miles on them) were terrible. Too hard rubber compound, so they slid around & very soft sidewalls which felt mushy. I can't imagine the Primacy's.
I dumped the MXM4's as soon as I found a larger wheel that I liked & went with larger BF Goodrichs'.

Btw, the UTQG rating refers to the hardness of the rubber compound in the tire tread. The Primacy UTQG 620 is a really high rating.
This means the tire rubber compound is very hard which gives the tire very poor traction & poor performance in all conditions but it will last a long time. That's the performance vs. longevity tradeoff.

You will notice that soft winter tires have no UTQG rating listed & for very high performance tires the UTQG rating is 100 or less.

Good tire discussion....Joe
