TSX belt for "stock" CT-E SC

Confirming that Gatorback #4060827 (6 rib) works though there may be a chance that #4070825 (7 rib) may work as well if the belt width is proper.

As a note, I have an 06 TSX, CT kit with "normal" blower pulley. For the TSX, you will likely have to grind away at the bracket since part of it comes in contact with the bottom of the SC snout. I estimate shaving off about 4mm of material to prevent contact during movement. Not just guessing here either. I didn't notice until everything was bolted up and upon starting the vehicle I heard a loud rattling sound at low RPM due to the bracket making contact with the SC. I did not have to grind a tab on the tensioner as there wasn't one, I did grind away a little elsewhere so it would sit flush in the bracket. You will also have to relocate the engine mount solenoid valve. All I did for this was remove the bracket holding it to the manifold, unplug the electrical connector and hoses, tie strap it to the fuel rail between the injectors, and run the hoses between the Merc Racing bracket and it's mounting location. The electrical connector is just flipped around the other way and plugs right in. No stretching or rewiring necessary. At worst you may have to rotate the hose on the manifold to prevent the hose from kinking. Bracket bolts right up to the OEM tensioner location beautifully.

Just a note that I am having a similar issue that some RSX owners had with the power steering fitting/bolt. I noticed my hood liner made contact with the PS fitting, but at least it didn't dent like some. I am on stock mounts. I'll probably shim the mount like someone did on CRSX. Do not let this deter you from the bracket. The fix for it is simple if you have to have things perfect (like me) and are willing and able to wrench on your own car.

I purchased this bracket because I have went through 4 belts in less than a year and was sick and tired of having to take apart the manual tensioning system to do so. I just installed the bracket over the weekend so no long term reports, but I am confident that it will do just fine. I don't post, but wanted to help out Jose with this info for the TSX market since he is helping out a lot of others with this outstanding product. Gotta tell you Jose, you got me wanting that aftercooler kit now.

EDIT: In regards to the minor PS issue...I completely forgot about the PS fitting spacer that is part of the CT kit. I will see if the spacer can be removed and returned to the stock position without any type of interference. I'll probably do this during the weekend.
