Another vote for the all-season mats. Works great for me in summer and winter Since you're in FL you only need to worry about summer. It traps sand and dirt fine in my experience. Well worth the price I paid.

For those wondering about winter:

I've had no issues with the way it holds debris when it comes to ice and snow and salt etc. I have heard ppl from up north who gets massive amounts of snow say it wasn't enough to trap it all but for the usual stuff here in VA it works great imo. Might just depend on your area and the conditions that they're put through but for the usual they are more than adequate imho.
