Well, its been a while since I've posted any pictures of my car, since the last experience I had was a negative one. These are some from the last few months, some might be reposts but I'm sure a lot of them are new:

Thanks. Honestly I think 75% of the time I wish I had just left it stock. But, the other 25% of the time I want 19s and a Spoon spoiler like FF_TSX. Honda Tuning magazine says they want to feature it but I need bolt ons, honestly I'll pass on it unless HKS makes their production turbo kit. They even mentioned helping out with the parts but I'm still not up for it, just not too big on the idea that it'll be the "Honda Tuning TSX" instead of "my car".

Thanks for the compliment though, as much as I'm over it I'm very proud of the work I've done.

Lito, I have very much respect for your car and your opinion, thank you very much.

Colts, I talked to my sources at HT and they were interested in my car in particular for a few reasons, one being that I'm good friends with someone on the editorial staff, the other being that I'm local to them and their sponsors. I still passed on the word, and sent pictures of yours, Litos, and Dubs' cars to them for possible features in the future.

I didn't want to do it for a few reasons. One is, I'm very proud of the fact that nobody other than myself has ever touched my car, and having a car that is completely my own-- no previous owner, no "blank BUILT" stickers, no sponsors-- is something I'm trying to hold true to. Having a car that was built with my money and my hands entirely is just something that I've always wanted to have. Having my car featured would be great, but having it be a Honda Tuning project car would then turn it into "their" car to the general population. Just not something I'm interested in. Plus, my car would probably be gone for weeks or months at a time, and I built this car to enjoy and drive, not show off. I don't think I could go more than a few days without driving it and taking pictures of it.

The editor at HT said that he would feature it if I added bolt ons and maybe some interior accents, but honestly I'm not that motivated to do that. That was when he mentioned maybe helping me out with some and making it a Honda Tuning project build, assuming that he thought it was money keeping me from it. I had thoughts to buy a Mugen airbox and exhaust, then I figured I'd wait for HKS or Comptech to release one of their boost setups so I didn't buy any engine parts in anticipation of buying the turbo/supercharger kit in the future. Still waiting, which is why the engine is still stock. Plus, Lito's car is Mugen perfection in my eyes and I'd want to respect its uniqueness and originality (not saying he would mind, but I like his car so much I wouldn't attempt to be that similar to it, personal preference). Interior, well, I'm probably going to be getting a CL7 steering wheel but that's all I planned on. I could probably get the Recaros but then I'd be rigging RHD controls and all that other BS and I'm just not up for it. 3 or 4 years ago, they would have already been in the car. Now, just not up for hassling to make things work in a brand new car.

I bought the car because of what it offers, same as everyone here. Luxury, fun to drive, great mileage, lots of standard features, and Honda reliability, all for under $30K. You really can't go wrong with it. So, at this point, anything I change would be taking away from the reason I originally bought it. Engine modifications would no doubt hurt mileage and/or reliability. Interior modifications would take away either some luxury features like the leather or heated/powered seats and I would have to rig stuff to fit. Steering wheel might not be compatible with cruise control or stereo controls. Perfectly fine for some, but to me I mind it now. The same reason I bought a USDM fog light kit to use the harness and switch (to make it OEM funtional and keep wiring OEM) when I could've just ran wires to a different switch like everyone else. I'm an anal old man (HA! I'm only 25) who likes his OEM functionality.

What I like the most is that the car is still 100% everything I bought the TSX for, but it handles a lot better and looks a whole lot better. Plus, its pretty original and fits me and my personal taste well. I couldn't ask for more in a car.

The purpose of all of this is to explain why this project is stalled in its current state. I just can't bring myself to modify things at this point. Not saying I won't, but right now the motivation to change or even hurt those things I loved about the TSX is small.

I'm waiting for HKS, Comptech, and Toda to finish their R&D work on this chassis and engine. I'm talking with Toda about possibly being the first one with an ITB/Toda C/Toda Header K24A TSX. As long as I can put it all on myself, I'm happy. Then maybe I'd get my car into SEMA next year (which I'm more concerned with getting a free trip and ticket) and it would give me a reason to slam it as low as I'd like it to be instead of "I'm scared of driveways and potholes" height. I sold my 17" Advans and cancelled my order for the 19" GT-Vs. I'm looking at different wheels, I still want a set of 19s but can't decide which ones. 19 X 8 +40mm and maybe then I'll finally throw on my Ingalls rear camber kit that I've had for 6 months.:D

I was thinking about getting a carbon front diffuser like Lito had, anyone know of one made for the CL7 bumper/lip? I thought I saw one for the USDM lip but I'm not sure.

The car stays clean because I only drive it about 100 miles a week on average. I work about 60 miles from home so I drive my Integra every day and to places I'm worried about thieves, so the car only gets taken on short trips to the store or on errands on weekday evenings and everywhere else I go on weekends. Being a professional detailer for 3 years while in college helps me keep it clean as well. I wash it about every 2 weeks. Car has 11,990 miles on it as of last night.

Lately my passion has been in photography, where most of my hobby money goes nowadays. Just pre-ordered a Nikon D200 to use as my primary and the D70 will remain as a backup. Since I have so many lenses I could keep an all around lens on the D70 and use my more specialized lenses on the D200 at events so that I don't have to switch around so much when different lighting presents itself. That way, I don't ever miss candids because I didn't have the right lens on at the time. I'm also working on learning Dreamweaver so that I can get my new site up, www.digitalhorizon-online.com. It'll be different than my old site because this one will be only me and my work, whereas the old site was a partnership of a few of my friends. It'll be half photo gallery, and half online magazine (like Jtuned), where I'll be doing features of local cars and events, shot by me and written by me as well. Hopefully someday I can get it to the level of Jtuned, but it'll be hard since this is only a hobby or "on the side" project that I do in my spare time. Recently, work has become so busy that I don't even have time to talk to my friends, let alone partake in my hobbies. I love my job and every second that they pay me to do what I love, so no complaints here.

Thanks for listening and looking everyone, much appreciated.

Well, I just read that, And as usual I have a lot of Respect for you, what your just wrote and your car, Thats one of the things I love about my car too, is besides when the Tranny blew out (not my fault) Im the only one thats held a Wrench to my car... So I definitely understand where your coming from, My ultimate goal is to get the car to the place, I think It should of came as from the factory... Little more Horsepower, Better Suspension, and some nice touches on the exterior to touch her up as well, not looking into having The Super-Street Graphics Covered, Neon underbody and A Rear Wing Show Car, I want to have my car.

As Far as Photography, Your pictures are amazing, Please continue to post your pictures on this forum... Good luck, looking forward to the next batch of pictures, Keeps me inspired on what my car can eventually look like

DH.... good write up man.... i have total respect for what you've said. I know what you mean, i don't want anyone touching my car, or in my driver seat except for me. But, too bad i don't have all the tools at home, and this is my first car, so i don't want to tamper with things that i don't know (like how to put on springs)....

i didn't know if you make it a cover car..... you have to lend it to them for weeks.... wow... keep up the good work man!!

why is all car people into photography??.... haha... i just can't afford a nice cam... and i have other hobbies too....:D

These are my three favorites. Good work man. Hopefully I will go be able to take some shots when I get home over christmas break. Hopefully I can get a hold of one of those 50mm lenses too.

that sounds good. i'm in california, where "cold" is 60 degrees. the integra gets 30 mpg, takes 87 octane, runs absolutely great, and wont get stolen. it costs me $28 a month plus gas to drive it. I love this thing, plus its got some special stuff that nobody notices that makes it fun to drive too:

Just not up for another car that costs money.... I have a camera to support and another on the way.

yeah if i wasnt up north for school i would definitly get a car with better gas milage but its still not awful gas millage. probably will only keep it for the time i am at school for the next 4 years or so and then get rid of it.

Dear DH:

nice pics. the reflection one is nice.

u mentioned about issued with WB, u wut u could do is:

1. use custom white balance (remember to change it as each light main light source
is modified)
2. shoot raw and correct the WB later, this way u could get more consistancy in
a set of pics.

hope this helps.
