A patch, a plug, anything??? This thing has like brand new tread on it, tirekingdom says they can't do anything, but the one next to campus is notorious for screwing people over for unnecessary repairs.

As long as the nail/debris is not in the sidewall.

everyone is saying its too close to the sidewall; only place that actually looked at it was tirekingdom and they didn't dismoutn the rim to see where it was...

Take it somewhere reputable. It looks like it could be repaired.

Pick up a plug kit and some rubber cement at Wal Mart. Always worked for me.

It's kinda close to the side wal. I think you could fix it, but I don't know how safe I would feel driving with it. Maybe if you weren't planning to it the highway.

Have someone dismount it and plug from the inside. It looks like it could work. If you can get a shot from the tire shoulder, that would be helpful. I had one similar to that and I plugged it and then autoxed and tracked the car with the plug. All ok!

yea i have 19's that are in bad shape; 2 slightly bent (not visiable but noticiable due to vibration) one tire has to get replaced because of a nail; and another has to get replaced also because of a nail that i never noticed that god knows how it went through the side wall.
So.... I've orderd 2 brand new tires from tires.com, and I'm having a HIGHLY reputable (Transwheel) company recondition all 4 rims. So they should be as good if not better than new. with 2 new tires.
After paying for all that I'm considering putting them up for sale on the board here and maybe on e-bay; for a very decent/hefty price since they will be like new with 2 brand new tires and 2 tires with 90% tread remaining...
They're 19" Axis Hagens in Hyper Silver. So i'm thinking i'll take that money, buy a cheaper set of 18's, and use the extra money (combined with a little more) to get a proper coilover system, instead of just the prokits.
prokits with 18's suck; but with 19's should be just right. with 18's i think i'd go witht he tanabe.

maybe patching it up would help that would cost 5-7 $ but if not your going to have to buy a new tire
