I just parted out my 02 civic si and traded it in for a silver 06 tsx last week. I still have my 15" mugen nr's, once i sell these ill buy a set of rims for my tsx. Gram Lights 57s pro is my 1st choice but i dont know what will fit our cars. I have several choices:
18 x 7.5
18 x 8.0
17 x 8.0
all these sizes come in +20 +30 or +40 offset
which will look best and fit? what size tires do you suggest. i dont want to roll my fenders. ill be dropping my car with some tein coilovers just enough so that there is no gap between the fender and tire. any help would be appreciated.
thanks!

Factory rims are 17 x 7, 55 offset. So any of these sizes will stick out quite a bit more than stock. That effect is lessened when you lower it though.....
Of the sizes you listed, 18 x 7.5 with a 40 offset would stick out the least.
That's a good looking rim, but I personally like the rims more tucked, so Works or Advans with offsets in the high 40s or low 50s is more of what I would want. Or how about the 18" Mugen NR? 7.5" wide, 55 offset. But maybe since you already had a set of these you don't want another......

I was actualy thinkin about the mugen gp's but they are too expensive. how bad would a 18x7.5 40 offset stick out? any pics?

Here's a TSX with 8.5" TL wheels, 45 offset, and 235/40/18s.

Your combo, with the lower offset, would stick out less than this. If you went with 225/40/18, the tire wouldn't come out as much, and that size would fit a 7.5" rim better, but it's smaller, so would increase the wheelgap even more.
Keep in mind that if you drop it, you will dramatically improve the looks of the car. It will help bring the tires in line with the fenders.
