It will look funny.
The body kit will help somewhat.

Will the A-Spec suspension be enough of a drop? If not, what are my options? I don't want to drop it too much cause the roads aren't all that great here and plus I will be adding a body kit. Thanks

225/40-18s, on Tein Flex with manufacturer recommended drop (-2F -1.6R).

The A-spec will be a lot higher than this as it lowers only about half as much I believe (someone correct if I'm wrong I don't know much about the A-spec kit). I figured I'd post a picture with that wheel size and let you decide where you'd like your car to sit in relation to my setup.

Aspec is approx 1" drop, from whar ive seen its been closer to 1.2-3 F 1.1ish in the back.... Im sure Lanny knows the proper figures, he even had the aspec for a period of time

S-techs are -1.7F and -1.3R so they're about a quarter inch+ higher than my car is above.

Any time the subject "drop" comes up, I really have to steer people away from the A-Spec setup.

It's a really sweet setup as far as handling goes, but if you are at all concerned about wheel gap or drop, you will be disappointed in the front drop.

I measured 1+" on the front, but my car seemed abnormally high to start; I still had three finger gap in the front.

I'd say your a good candidate for the Tanabe Sustec coilovers; very reasonable spring rates and compliant ride, matched dampers, plus the ability to set the height to whatever your like.....

Hey Thanks. but i would still like to see a side profile of any car with those springs in it and a kit on it, any kit. thanks

you can try tein.com and browse around, I know they have pics of most of their suspension installed on cars. I believe they hav an ABP TSX with every tein suspension installed on it (including s-tech).

As a former A-Spec owner, I can tell you that if you're worried about how your 18's will look without a drop, you won't be satisfied with the look with an A-Spec suspension. Without actually measuring how much my wheel gap changed, I couldn't visually tell much of a difference between my stock setup and the A-Spec setup.

As Lanny mentioned, you may want to check out the Tanabe Sustec Pro S-0C Type II coilovers. I have them, and would recommend them to anyone who prioritizes ride height adjustability over handling performance. They also have a very nice, compliant ride... and for only $1-200 more than the A-Spec, it's worth it to be able to lower and raise your car at will.

Can't go by those pics-they used to have the same pics of the APB TSX for all their setups-the same exact pic! Now, they have a CG in the S-Tech, Basic and SS (again-same pic), while the APB is shown under FLEX only....so who knows if any of those cars have the S-Techs...

Sweet pic BTW.......
