Anyone have any experience with the Nitto Neo Gen tires? i'm about to get them.

Also, what tires sizes can i get away with for 18" wheels?
I dont want too low a profile, i want a decent amount of side wall there to protect my rim.
PLEASE let me know! thanks in advance!

Most members on this forum with 18" wheels are running 225/40/18. You could also go with 215/45/18, they would be alot closer to the recommended size but are much harder to find. 228/40/18 is your best bet, it's what I'm rolling on lol

hahahaha, sorry, i got so excited over those pics, i didn't read what you wrote.

for the yoko's, they say the tire wears fast, is it that bad? will it last 2 summers if i switch to winter tires every winter? my dad has them on his 535is, and whenever i drive it, i always compliment the tires.

Honestly couldnt give you a review on tire wear. I've had them on my car since August, but I've only driven about 900 miles since then. My car has about 4 degrees rear camber, but its hard to say since the tires are still pretty much brand new.

any other feedback on the nitto next gens, or any other nitto models, for that matter?

i have nitto neo gens on my car now. they ride completely smooth. even wear even with negative camber. very soft. good all around tire. highly recommend them to anyone!

how hard have you pushed them?

how's the cornering/steering response? i prefer to have stiffer, rather than softer sidewalls.

does taking 35 mph off ramps at 60 mean anything? i practically whip the rear end out sometimes just to get a chuckle on the way home from work...i gotta do something to keep me awake working 14 hour shifts on the ems bus...anyways these tires are great all around. i keep the air pressure up around 38 and its great for gas mileage and response...there z rated so they are good. they deff would be worth the investment. so far i put 1500 miles on mine. i just replaced them last month and i commute 45 mins to work...i had loud ass kuhmos before and they felt stiffer but i get almost the same response outta these that i had with the kuhmos....if u want my advice i say get em u wont be dissapointed

also check tirerack.com, the reviews from people there is what lead me to make these my new tires rather than three others i had in mind
