hi~
i am planning to get new rims for my euro. my car is on 16'' and it looks so small.
i want to get 17'' or 18'' but i don't want to change the suspension,becasue of $$$ .

i know the car will be higher, but it is ok for me, i am not actually looking for very "racing" look. (also i have the body kit so i hope it will look ok)

but i want to know, after changing the rims, will the gap between the rims be smaller, bigger or remain the same?

There are so many variables that it is hard to say, but I will be glad to give you some general guidelines.

I'm guessing you're currently running 205/55/16. That has an overall diameter of 24.88".

I notice that the Euro R and other euro applications run 215/45/17, which is even smaller; I'd skip that size if wheelgap is a concern.

The TSX in the US/Canada comes through with 215/50/17, which is a little larger at 25.46". Running this size would decrease wheel gap.

It is generally true though that the smaller the sidewall gets, that from a visual standpoint, wheelgap appears to increase. So even though with a 215/50 you would HAVE less gap, I think it would LOOK about the same.

Then's there's offset. To minimize the appearance of wheelgap, you want to keep the wheel/tire as inboard as you can, which will help hide gap.
