NEW JERSEY SHORE MEET June 23-25 2006?!?!

Tenatively Scheduled for June 23rd to 26th The New Jersey TSX Club Jersey shore Party hard MEET!!

This is what i got so far....Im gonna make this one hell of a meet...so far its me and pizzaman555 running this and hopefully Peregrine will help out where he can too...so bascially this is the run down for now...it may change as time goes with input too!!

But heres how its gonna go down:

First and Foremost in Toms River NJ The nicest hotel is the Holiday Inn...heres the Address so u can call for prices on rooms:

NOW LETS GET TO THE PLANS:
(Friday Night) everyone checks in...Than around 8:00 PM we all go to either Oliver Garden or A local Spot Tiffanys for Dinner and Meet and Greet in person! This is the night we all relax and chat and get out talking and just shoot the shit ya know... and if some of u are flying in or driving in from like up north or south than it would be nice to sit back for a beer ya know

(SATURDAY) We all wake up get out and meet by 930-10ish. Now i got 2 ideas here.
#1. Theres a place called JDM Engineering in Freehold NJ. About a 1/2 ride from toms river. They Have a DYNO! so we can dyno our cars and get some pulls. these will be run what u brung pulls. u can do stuff in the lot if u want but thats about it. Now im gonna try and get a group price on this. im thinking we can get like 10 cars and maybe three pulls a piece for like 50.00 a car...maybe less. this is just a ball park figure...
#2. is a mix of ideas. We can all go to RACEWAY PARK in Englishtown NJ about 45 minutes away and run our cars with time trials. when this is finished we all leave and do lunch together. than when thats done we will go back to toms river and either head to a small shore town (lavallette or Island Heights) and have a show off ur car car show. and than after that go to dinner later at like fridays or applebees or ruby tuesdays...

(SATURDAY NIGHT) Now this is where the partying starts!! See for those of u who dont know the jersey shore, well Seaside Heights NJ has more night clubs than South Beach In Miami and is crazy fun!! My buddy owns a lot on The Ocean Strip. im gonna get us like 20 spots up front so we all can park our cars and walk from club to club to bar and have a blast!! but if u dont want to go to a club dont worry...seaside has a huge boardwalk with rides and games and its nuts...and the night life on the Ocean Blvd and the Main Blvd is insane with hooked up cars driving everywhere...every weekend its like rolling car shows...ALSO EVERYTHING IS OPEN TILL 4AM!! BARS AND CLUBS!!

This is what i got so far....
(SUNDAY) well we all wake up and say good bye to each other...we can do like a brunch and than for those of u who have to catch a flight or head drive home this is gonna be the day...and after saturday night u will understand why this is like a recoupe day lol. anyways this is what i got up my sleeve for the NJ TSX CLUB MEET AT THE JERSEY SHORE!!

ALSO- my buddy will make t shirts up and stickers if anyone wants them...he owns his own company and can make the offical tsx club stickers if the moderators want!

I might be in to meet up with some of you blokes if you make a trip down to Freehold or the Raceway. I live pretty close to JDM Engineering, and I use to have an apartment 1 mile away from the track. I've already met some of you guys, but it'd be nice to put some faces with the other names...

I'm probably out for the clubs --- got the Mrs. at home (don't think she'd be too keen on my going out with a bunch of bachelors LOL)... and I've done the whole club circuit for too long as I spun residencies at a few NYC clubs starting in '96. If anyone just wants to scope the boardwalk out, I might be down...

I got a wife, too, and this event incorporates wives, girlfriends, boyfriends, or just friends, the more the merrier. The point is to socialize more, and to have a blast weekend. Some ppl may choose to go to a club, while another group will prefer to hang around the boardwalk, some will like to do the dynos, while other won't, some will like to take their cars on the track, and others won't - all this is fine, as long as the group cruises together, and stays together for the most part.
This is not a common meet, this will be a one of a kind event you can't miss, and will require commitment from pariticipants, because we will need to make reservations ahead of time. But again, details are on a way, it's still few months away

Pete me and mike are gonna try and work out as much details as possible but for now this is all thats come to mind as being things that we can get group deals on and have a fun time with it all....but as pete said this is gonna require peoples commitment...this will be a meet that goes down in the record books as one of the best if not the best on this board...the dates are pretty much what its gonna be...this is posted way in advance so people can set up there schedules and provide questions or feedback on this event!! we would like to see people come from all over if they can!! this is gonna be like a vacation for people thats the idea!!

I think this is the weekend of Hot Import Nights in A.C. which i was gunna go to with acuras from the other site. But anyway, im only 18 so i dont know if it would even be worth going for me. But still the shore is def sick. Its way to far in advice to tell if i can go but, im down there all the time over the summer. I should be there though. I could caravan down with Eric (05NighthawkTSX) who lives about 10 minutes from me, so if anyone else in bergen county is interested let me know. Good plan though, sucks im not 21 :(

The official list will require a parking deposit, since there are certaing reservations we will need to make in advance. Details are in the works. We'll try to make it as cheap as possible, but to make this a rate 1 event we will need to make certain reservations and pay some minor fees most likely in advance.

For months (especailly during the last meet) I've been getting feedback from ppl in conversation about them waiting for this meet in June. Even if you don't get much response about needing the hotel right now, I'm sure ppl will use it when the time comes. As for myself, you know my mom lives in the area, so I don't need a hotel. But if you try and find a nice motel in Seaside, it'll be easier go out partying because most ppl won't have to worry about driving drunk.
I'm definitely gonna be there the whole weekend. I suspect a lot of ppl will too.

not for nothing guys but all the hotels in seaside are nasty! trust me u guys wouldnt want to stay in any of them! The best place is the holiday inn on rt 37. ill see what i can do about the rooms. we used to do alot of off duty stuff there. so maybe get some what of a good break! Good thing I turned 21 today, NJ Shore...****ings clubs is gonna be awesome. I've gone to South Beach clubs, and they are awesome, but I heard that NJ shore is CRAZY!

work for both jobs is nuts! Im trying to get things together but as far as a weekend meet i cant run it. i can set something up for saturday but thats about it. i dont know what we can do cause i have not even time to plan it out. i want to do this really bad but at the same time- i got bills to pay like anyone else and this is my busy season for both the pd job and the ems job. i was gonna sick out the whole weekend but i cant now. if anyone wants to figure out a game plan please put it together. but the way things look we can do a meet on saturday than go out saturday night clubbing. other than that the whole weekend thing looks like a bust. im sorry guys- but maybe september i can make a weekend thing

But we may choose to cruise somewhere later on. As far as the actual spot, we're waiting for Jays98cobra to find something for us. He was the one initially organizing this.

well, this is the problem. There is no plan.
Jay came up with this meet half a year ago and ppl from all over the Country are looking forward to this. But now Jay said he doesn't have time...
There is no way I can do anything. As a matter of fact, because of my school final project schedule collision (I only have a 2 day frame to turn it in after it's given on the 23rd), I may end up not being able to get there at all. I will try my best to do it, even if it means sitting all night to do that f***** final project. But the key problem is, I can't do didley to organize this meet. And Jay's not responding, apparently. We need someone to do some reservations, even over the phone.

I was wondering if it would be possible to reserve the municipal public parking lot that's located at the end of the boardwalk. The one with parking meters. It's an excellent spot. Right between the beach and the street. The surface is asphalt. There are parking meters, so someone would have to call the municipality at Seaside Heights and find out if it's possible to reserve some part of that parking for an organized auto show, for some time frame, preferrably the whole day.
