Hi! I need help. I just bought a JDM Honda Accord CL9 2004 (which I assume is identical to the 2004 Acura TSX) in Karachi, Pakistan (imported from Japan). It has a full display with navigation system but it's all in Japanese (what can I say... beggars can't be choosers!). I need a bit of help with the translation/features:
1. Is there a way to get the FM radio stations to search frequencies from 88 to 108 instead of the Japanese 76 to 90?
2. Is there any place that can tell me the information on the display in English instead of Japanese (the display shows some pictures like calendar, voice recording, fuel and mileage data etc.)?
3. How to get the outside temperature to show in the main upper display in the front (it shows in the odometer window already)?
4. Any other information that will help me with voice command, mobile phone connection, ability to watch TV and/or regular DVDs on the screen.
Thanks in advance! Please respond here or e-mail me at adil.siddiqi@gmail.com. Appreciate it...

haha, let me just point out that as of March 04, 525 people have viewed your post ahs4y, and i dont think anyone has a clue O.o??
what you need is a profecional translater for your users manual which will help you change the language settings. or simply import an American Navi??

1) Unlikey as the Japanese don't use the higher frequencies for radio, so it's set at that range, rather than limited by software.
So the only option I believe is a European head unit.
2) ?
3) Outside temp is where it's supposed to be. The temps showing on the upper display along with the time, are for the air con controls.
4) TV and DVD replay on the Navi screen will be done by one of the various adapter boxes that are now available.
If the cost of changing head unit is prohibitive for now, then ask the import company if they can provide translation to the various bits you've not figured out yet.
Either that or contact Honda Japan and see if they will help.

ANS: You need to install an FM MODULATOR to receive higher frequencies, it adds +12 to whatever you see on the display.
Hope that helps.
