View Full Version : Idle Vibration (help)

Do you guys has this problem.
My tsx tend to vibrate alittle more than usual at idle. And I mean when AC is on and off but feel it better with AC on.
Anyone knows why?

What should I do?

Last week when I went to dealership they said its fine.

yeah i feel the vibration also when i have my a/c on.. i also have vibration when pressing down on the clutch and brakes, only when the car is moving though.

Yup, let me guess your car is auto?
For some reason when my car is sitting at a light car tends to shake. Feels cheap. With the A/C on the problem is more pronounced. Last time the car had a high idle and soon as I let off the brakes the car lunged foward... dunno why but seems to be common.
Soon as i put the car in neutral the vibrations stop.... anyone know why?

I think there is naturally friction between the clutch and flywheel.. but it shouldn't cause noticable vibration. Are you talking about when you're on Park or Drive?

I think its only natural for a 4cyl to do that. Every 4 that was automatic I'd ever had did that. Even my C220 did that.

this is the only car i've had that had vibration on the brake and gas pedal. my built integra, with polyurethane mounts and stiff suspension didn't cause my pedals to vibrate. well actually maybe just a little bit but not as bad as my tsx.

I went to the dealership today and found out it was the bolt in my AC compressor felt off that cause the problem. Hope that's really the case. Going to drive for few more days and see how it goes.

Dear 04whitetsx:

we have similar problem on our 2006 TSX. Did you find the vibration when put the car idle on gear D or R? How is your car now? Did dealer fix the problem?

Hi is it normal to experince this vibration on the brake and gas pedals while driving and also when the A/C compressor is running?
