Well, I finally have the first pictures of my TSX...unfortunately, I didn't take them. As you may be able to see below, I found out the hard way that DC has speed cameras on top of posts (not red light cameras). So while I was lost in the district, I got myself a nice little ticket in the mail for going 40 in a 25...I hate driving in the city. Enjoy!

I have never gotten a red light picture, but I had never seen a speed camera at a random location like that. Guess that teaches me a lesson or something. Its a shame too cause honestly, that is not the most glamourous angle of my ride. ;)

I know two people who have it....one has recieved a ticket and the other hasnt and they both ran through the same intersection.....i believe the film spray works depending on the way the sun hits the plate

Hah, thank you...I plan on getting some nicer "vanity" shots if you will when the weather is right and the car is clean...though honestly, it looks like every other stock CGP 06 TSX out there...its still my baby!

The spray does not work, they did a test on TV once. Man, i think its time for driving slow now. Uncle Sam wants his money! How much was the ticket?

i hate these speed.redlight cameras. these things are more a less revenue collectors for cities.

as for the those sprays and plastic lapels, they don't work that well or don't work at all. I remember a news segment a while back and the news team tried various products and had the pigs take pics of their car as they drove through the intersection to see whether or not they worked....turns out they can still see the plates, but with some glare.

Pics not bad...maybe I should do a quick run for a photoshoot... Seriously though the photoblocking plate covers actually do work...my friend has one on his M3...its polarized, so you cant read it from some angles...

I thought speed cameras using radar wasn't legal in the US or something? Can anyone clarify on this?

That's a good picture, too bad it came with such a huge pricetag :/

Yeah the Pricetag thing sucks, but honestly id probibly get it framed... im a schmuck like that though... payed my last ticket .01$ over...so that they would have to write me a check pack for a penny... which they did... felt odd cashing it though lol

The ticket price wasn't that bad, gonna cost me $50.00, compared to the Redlight ticket my wife got which cost us $85.00 (she was 90% of the way through the intersection when it snapped it), evidentally speeding is the lesser offense! Thank you about the avatar, thought it would get a laugh! I think that the polarizing plate covers are illegal in virginia, so that is why I didn't take the time to get one...don't need another ticket for that. Thanks for the sympathy guys, I appreciate it since I know we ALL have been there one time or another.

Oh and TSX R' Us, they can't prove it was me, but on the form it asks if someone else was driving my car and if I select yes, then it requires me to put their name, address, and licence information...if that stuff is not valid or it was written incorrectly, it is my responsibility.
