I've confused you with someone else (a dutch guy)... is called steffan too and you looked to be dutch because of the 'klein' in your picture's name :)

And well, I like to joke with people who show off too much (like the dutch guy)... but like I said, I confused you...

Haha....tell him to tie that down. The red terminal is always receiving power, it gets a constant 12 volts. He wouldn't want it to accidently hit some metal or something. It's probably ran directly to the battery.

I had a real piece of glass cut for the cirlcle, not plastic or plexiglass. I then had a piece of vinyl cut with the Acura logo to cover the glass and sent it out to be sandblasted, then I removed the vinyl, leaving just the Acura logo sandblasted onto the glass.

Haha...well when there's traffic, I pay attention to the road in case I need to make sudden stops etc. On the way home I'm on the highway and the road is clear, so once in awhile I catch the Simpsons, Seinfeld, or Friends. I never stare at the screen though. I mostly listen and just look over if a funny scene is coming up.

The majority of the time I'm just crusing and listening to my beats though. I try to keep my Ipod loaded up with new stuff when I can...yaddaImean?!

Hey, DPTSX,

Does that car have a supercharger too? I remember when I was over at Comptech one day they were telling me that Desmond performance was installing a supercharger. You guys were one of the first on the East coast with the Comptech SC installed.

DPTSX
12-04-2006, 06:40 PM
Yes it has the Comptech supercharger. Mine was the first on the east coast and we actually ended up being the first to install one besides Comptech themselves. It's a lot of fun and it sounds incredible:D

Tsx536
12-04-2006, 06:48 PM
Yep, my car has a supercharger too! I was their test car for the auto transmission, so I was the first auto TSX ever with a SC.

I remember being around the shop around the same time you guys were doing the install, Billy was telling me about how they were working with you guys to get the tensioner stuff worked out. Sounds like it works great now. Unfortunately Billy doesn't work there anymore though.

OK, we better get back on topic or else Shay will come and check us :wall:

Thank you :) Yes they are 2 JL 10W6v2, the amp driving them is a JL 500/1 mounted on a panel behind the rear seats, its visible when the rear seats are folded down. The amp under the glass circle in the trunk is a JL 300/4 that powers all the interior speakers in the car.

Yeah definitely a sick setup. Got my JL project coming up in a couple of weeks and have been looking at the 10w7's but alot of people are advising me to just go with the 10w6v2's for a better overall sound. What kind of speakers you got on the inside for that 300/4? Some nice components i'm imagining...And if you don't mind me asking, are those speakers surrounding the w6's?

I'm looking into a clean set-up .. not to expensive.. i have alot of stuff i saved for my rsx.. then i totaled it.. but just recently got more speakers cause tsx has more speakers then the rsx.. (Infinity Reference 6x9's) its all infinity stuff ill post up what i have in a little bit.. i need some suggestions on what to do.. how to put them in my car.. id love the help.. (i work at best buy so all my system stuff is from there.. except the sub, sub i got through accommodations at best buy.. cause i didn't like the reference sub.)

like box suggestions... should i fiberglass myself? i never fiberglassed before.. I'm 17yrs old.. dunno how good itll be..

Also what about amp placing.. my mom is anal about where stuff is put and she doesn't want me to drill the amps to the back of the seat.. so yea.. help is needed

also after all this i want to get an N3 put into my car for navi.. is it possible to go where the "not an ashtray" thing is? take the whole thing out .. ill have to pull shit apart and find out on my own if you guys don't know..

thanks - Dan

Speakers - Infinity Reference -
REF9623I - 6" x 9" three-way loudspeaker
REF6012I - 6-1/2" two-way loudspeaker (rear speakers)
REF6010CS - 6-1/2" two-way component system (fronts)

Amplifiers - Infinity Reference -
REF7541A - 520 Watt 4-channel amplifier
REF611A - 600 Watt Class D Subwoofer Amplifier

Sub- Infinity Kappa Perfect
KAPPA PERFECT12DVQ - 12" Die-cast subwoofer

I was thinking of just powering the component speakers and ... maybe the 6x9's
and the sub amp for the kappa perfect.

what do you guys think?... do i need other stuff?
