Anyone got the Sony PS3???

Not sure if it's off topic, but who got the PS3???

I have work everyday so didn't went to line up yesterday. But 2 of my friend went to Mid-Town Wal-Mart, waited from 8:30a.m (Nov16) till this morning. They got 1 each. The e-bay price is crazy, wondering who has a PS3 to sell now.

One of my friend has successfully sold their PS3 on Ebay for $2,450USD + $30Shipping on ebay. That is like 350% return in 1 day.

That's good chuson...but i keep hearing horror stories about ebay. Especially if they even used paypal.

People have been scammed before where the item was shipped and they in return reported to ebay that they never received anything. Canada post wasnt able to do anything for the seller ontime to meet the deadline and sellers ended up getting the amount deducted. Thus losing their item for sale, getting charged the full value of the bid.

Ive been a sony fanboy for a long time, ps,ps2, psp...but the ps3 im waiting til the price is lower and they work out the kinks and see what game lineup they will have.

What they are offering doesnt really interest me. Blue-ray dvd bah....we know that movie industry is going towards HDdvd so blu-ray will die.

For the time beeing going back to nintendo. The Wii looks like so much fun and having a 3 yaer old it'll make both us us happy for the next several years.....

^^ wasn't blu-ray will kill HD-DVD? I know HD-DVD has way better pic than blu-ray. But wasn't most of the content providers are joining the blu-ray alliance? And also PS3 will help a lot to diverse the blu-ray. BTW, I am more interested on Wii too, heard a lot of PS3 review that PS3 games are good pic quality but boring!

I like Wii too but it doesn't have what I wanted: Gran Turismo, Granf Theft Auto, and Final Fantasy...

but at the same time Wii has Zelda...damn

Most of the blu-ray backers are owned by sony LOL.....from what i heard the movie industry is leaning towards HDDVD ..

PLus the fact that even if the ps3 is a blu-ray player, im still skeptical of using it as a player as I dont want to extensively use it to wear oout the laser.

Same goes for the PS2 it can be double as a DVD player but no one really uses it as one.

Wii for Mii please!!!!!!
